Heinz Hartmann Award


Established 1965

The Heinz Hartmann Award is presented to scholars who have made outstanding contributions to the theory and practice of psychoanalysis. The Heinz Hartmann Scholar delivers the Heinz Hartmann lecture on a subject of his/her choice and leads a case conference for candidates.

The current Chair of the Heinz Hartmann Award Committee is Robert Smith, M.D.
